DW TRADITION 2007

In 2007 we again will have all prizes in an outdoor tent on the front lawn of the course.  Be sure to visit the prize tent after registering and fill in your prize selection card.

At the completion of the round proceed to the tent to claim your prize from tournament helpers.  PLEASE DO NOT GO INTO THE TENT AND PICK-UP YOUR OWN PRIZE and don't be offended if you are asked to prove who you are!!!

1. We're again at Guelph Lakes Golf and Country Club - 18 hole course with driving range!!!

2. We are accepting Credit Card payments - Visa and MasterCard

3. Scramble format for entire tournament played as foursomes.

4. Putting contest to be moved from before tournament to when you pass the clubhouse the first time, either after the 9th or 18th hole depending on where your starting hole is.  Moving the putting contest from before should allow us to get everyone organized better and allow for an actual 12:00 tee for the first time!!!

5. No pre-set prizes for winning foursome - just the beautiful yellow and black wool golf shirts!

6. Prize selection process used since 2004 and will be repeated again this year.  When you register you will review the prize table and submit a list of your top 5 choices from the prize table.   During the tournament the selections will be randomly drawn.  If your choice for 1st prize has not yet been taken, its yours, if it has been selected we'll move to your 2nd choice and so on to your 3rd, 4th or 5th choice.  If all your choices have been selected your name will be randomly assigned to one of the remaining prizes. 

A little strategy will be required because very good prizes will be selected by many therefore reducing your odds of getting those prizes.  If you choose a perceived less popular item, your odds of getting that prize will be much higher as fewer players will have that item as one of their selections.  When the round is complete you will return to the clubhouse where all players names will be listed with the prize assigned to them.  Prizes will be distributed immediately when you come off the course to eliminate the time typically used at the end of the day.
